Mason's
Patent Ironstone square dish, 9.4" square, c1813-1830 This antique English ironstone dish was probably the base of a tureen from a dinner service. It's in a colourful pattern known as "Blue Pheasants" and is in excellent condition. The dish carries both the printed Mason's Patent Ironstone mark and the impressed one-line mark, dating it to c1813-1830. A good example of this early pattern. Our price £225 US$385 €325

The familiar printed Mason's Patent Ironstone China mark is transfer printed in underglaze blue. Below it, and hardly visible in our photo, there's the wording Mason's Patent Ironstone China impressed in one line. You'll see there's just one small chip on the inside of the footrim. |
